David grew up in Chino Hills, CA. Just before High School his parents moved to Virginia where he graduated from in 1997. During High School he managed a movie theater at age sixteen. His favorite past time was gathering up the neighborhood kids and making movies. He moved back to California in 2000 and got a job working for an international distribution and manufacturing company. After running the company for six years, he decided to start a production company, Avlee Enterprises. Two years later, he resigned after eight years and focused on developing his production company full time.
David has produced several training videos, short films and a few documentaries. One short film was awarded Best Costume Design and Best Graphics at a film festival in Los Angeles, CA. He has been involved in several humanitarian projects around the world and has traveled to Guyana, Trinidad, Barbados, Haiti, Germany, Mexico.
While at student at Brigham Young University, he was been involved with educational research with the department of Physiology & Developmental Biology. David has been working with professors and students to improve the program and create a more interactive learning experience for the students.
David currently works with hospitals and clinics in the area. He finds talent and has them perform for Alzheimer’s patients, sick children and the elderly.
David is heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America in his area. He attends overnighters and day hikes, teaching the boys about leadership and being a good citizen. He is currently a Merit Badge Counselor for Backpacking, Chemistry, Cinematography, Collections, First Aid, Hiking, Medicine and Reading. Scout troops have David teach the boys and sign them off. He has recently applied to be a counselor for sixteen other merit badges.
